Logo Design for Boat Harbour Marine

This initial round explores different ways to bring the boating and fishing sides of Boat Harbour Marine into one clear identity. Each direction balances the established marine focus with the new emphasis on game and sport fishing. The concepts range from modern and performance-driven through to more traditional nautical approaches, while keeping the branding practical for signage, uniforms, digital use and the online store.

Concept 1: Logo Design for Boat Harbour Marine

The idea behind this concept was to combine a game fishing boat and fish into one dynamic icon rather than treating them as separate elements. The boat forms the upper section, while the fish curves underneath, creating a sense of movement through the water. This gives equal recognition to both sides of the business and introduces the fishing category without moving away from the existing marine focus. The clean, technical typography supports a more contemporary sport and lifestyle direction, while the navy, sand and aqua palette keeps the identity connected to the water.

Concept 2: Logo Design for Boat Harbour Marine

This direction explores a more established nautical identity, using an anchor as the foundation for a custom Boat Harbour Marine monogram. The letters are integrated into the structure of the anchor, with curved details that also suggest fishing hooks. This allows the boating and tackle elements to work together without relying on a separate boat or fish illustration. The circular emblem provides a stronger connection to the existing branding while giving it a cleaner and more distinctive structure. It would work particularly well across signage, uniforms, social media profiles, badges and branded merchandise.

Concept 3: Logo Design for Boat Harbour Marine

This concept develops the anchor and monogram idea in a more traditional direction. The customised BHM letterforms are built directly into the anchor, creating a compact symbol that can be used independently from the full business name. The typography has a more established marine character, helping the brand feel trusted and familiar while still introducing a new identity. Navy and muted gold reinforce the premium positioning without appearing overly formal. The simplified colour palette and strong silhouette also make this direction practical for embroidery, apparel, packaging, vehicle graphics and store signage.

Concept 4: Logo Design for Boat Harbour Marine

This bonus direction builds on the style of the reference supplied, but reduces the illustration into cleaner and more controlled lines. The boat and game fish are merged into one flowing shape, creating a stronger connection between marine supplies and sport fishing. The forward angle and long horizontal form give the identity a sense of speed and performance, which may appeal particularly well to the game fishing market. The supporting typography has been kept narrow and modern so it sits comfortably beneath the wider icon without competing with it.
