Logo Design for Dalton Institute

This refined direction builds on the original concept while strengthening the overall balance and readability of the identity. The geometric pattern has been extended to subtly form both the D and the I, creating a unified symbol that reflects connection, structure and collaboration. Rather than allowing the I to dominate, it has been intentionally integrated into the icon so that the D remains the primary and most recognisable element.

The faceted geometric forms represent the coming together of different ideas, disciplines and people, reflecting the Institute's role in research, professional learning and educational development. Each shape contributes to a larger whole, symbolising knowledge, collaboration and continuous growth.

The typography has also been refined with a typeface that complements the geometry of the icon while remaining clean, contemporary and highly legible. The result is a professional identity that feels established and credible, positioning Dalton Institute as a trusted leader in educational research, teacher development and training.
