Logo Design for Ghear'd Up Mechanical
Hi Gemma, I'm now pleased to present logo design concepts for Ghear'DUP
Concept 1: Logo Design for Ghear'd Up Mechanical
This first design leans into that classic garage badge / workshop culture aesthetic. The rough hand-drawn style gives it personality and attitude while still feeling approachable and memorable. The crossed spanners immediately communicate the mechanical side of the business, while the circular badge format works really well for stickers, shirts, signage and merch. The name itself becomes the hero — playing on the combination of Gemma Heard and “gear up” — giving the brand a fun but authentic identity.
Concept 2: Logo Design for Ghear'd Up Mechanical
This concept strips things back into a more minimal but aggressive industrial style. The custom block typography feels strong, heavy and engineered — almost like a stamped metal badge or fabricated plate. It’s cleaner than the first two concepts but still carries that tough workshop attitude. Because it’s so simple and bold, it would work extremely well across uniforms, signage, vehicle decals and social branding.
Concept 3: Logo Design for Ghear'd Up Mechanical
This option pushes further into the retro grunge / custom workshop direction. The warped lettering gives it a more rebellious and energetic feel, almost like an old-school hot rod or underground garage brand. It’s bold, loud and intentionally imperfect in a way that gives the business character and individuality. The crossed tools keep it grounded in the mechanical industry while the overall look feels edgy and highly memorable.
In Summary...
I hope you like the designs so far, and the ideas that formed them. Each concept have been rendered and mocked on various surfaces to give you a perspective of how each will look when applied. Once you have viewed the designs, please send your feedback to [email protected]. We will continue the conversation via email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
