Hi Steve, Glorz I'm now pleased to present logo design concepts for Lectro Performance Horses.
These concepts have been developed to position Lectro Performance Horses as a premium breeding program built on quality bloodlines, trust and long-term reputation. The focus has been on creating branding that feels established and professional while still reflecting the strength, heritage and aspiration associated with performance horses. Some concepts lean toward a modern stud identity, while others explore a more traditional crest-style approach often seen in respected equine breeding programs. All concepts have been designed to work across signage, vehicles, apparel, social media, websites and promotional materials.
Concept 1: Logo Design for Lectro Performance Horses
This is the most minimalist direction in the collection. The focus is on strong typography with a subtle custom flourish incorporated into the L, creating a sense of movement and elegance without relying on horse imagery.
The result is clean, timeless and professional. It feels more like a premium brand than a traditional horse stud logo, allowing the name itself to become the hero. This approach would work particularly well if you want a sophisticated identity that can grow internationally over time.
Concept 2A: Logo Design for Lectro Performance Horses
This concept incorporates a stylised horse head inspired by your photos, directly into the letterform, creating a distinctive icon that immediately communicates the equine focus of the business.
The design balances elegance and strength while keeping the overall layout clean and easy to recognise. It gives Lectro a memorable visual element that can be used independently across social media profiles, clothing and merchandise.
Concept 2B: Logo Design for Lectro Performance Horses
A badge-style evolution of the previous concept. The circular format creates a strong standalone emblem that feels established and confident.
This design is particularly suited to applications such as apparel, vehicle graphics, property signage and social media, where a compact icon often performs better than a full horizontal logo. It has a classic stud-farm feel while remaining modern and clean.
Concept 3A: Logo Design for Lectro Performance Horses
This concept moves toward a more traditional breeding-stud identity. The LPH monogram sits within a shield, supported by dual rearing horses (Dual-registered traditional bloodlines on both sides)Â and surrounded by a laurel wreath.
The shield represents heritage, quality and reputation, while the wreath reinforces achievement and excellence. This direction feels prestigious and established, similar to branding often seen in respected equine breeding programs around the world.
Concept 3B: Logo Design for Lectro Performance Horses
An included variation of the previous concept, retaining the crest and heritage elements while introducing a horizontal layout.
This creates a better balance for signage, websites, advertising and vehicle graphics while maintaining the premium, established feel of the crest design. It offers the traditional look of a stud emblem with greater versatility across everyday applications.
Concept 4: Logo Design for Lectro Performance Horses
This concept combines a shield-based monogram with a cleaner circular composition, creating a balanced and highly recognisable mark.
The surrounding typography gives the logo a seal-like appearance, reinforcing trust, quality and authenticity. The shield and horses communicate strength and breeding heritage, while the overall layout feels clean and professional.
Concept 5: Logo Design for Lectro Performance Horses
This direction combines the heritage-inspired horse icon with a cleaner, more contemporary wordmark.
The horse is framed within the double 'L' and monogram create a strong focal point, while the typography keeps the overall presentation refined and approachable. The addition of the values line helps communicate the foundational framework of the breeding program and reinforces the qualities that make Lectro Performance Horses unique and going 'beyond'.
This concept sits somewhere between traditional and modern, offering a balance of heritage, professionalism and brand recognition.
