PROJECT

OMS Clinic

  • Lower case to make the clinic a little more personable and approachable. Oral and Maxillofacial surgery isn’t the first choice for most to visit.
  • Focus on the oms
  • Face in the negative space (catering for both genders and ages)
  • Modern, clean, minimal

Colours have a strong impact on impressions, so we took care to choose a reassuringly restful palette. The charcoal background is soft, but still gives prominence to the white of the logo with its beautiful curves. A contrasting but complementary blue further emphasises the welcoming and caring ethos of this clinic.

Those contrasting attributes can represent a design challenge. We met this by choosing lower case lettering (more personable and approachable), but in a smooth, clean and precise font (expert and exacting). Our lettering complements the artistic sweep of the ‘S’ curve and the face profiles. These positive and negative face profiles represent another aspect of Dr Nikolarakos’ practice: his inclusive multi-age and -gender approach.
