Concept 5A: Teppanyaki King

Michael, I have revisited the design. Coincidentally, I actually know the original founders of the this takeaway.

I also know what the other surrounding shops currently look like and decided it would serve well to really create a very organic and even authentic and original look to the brand.

I’m noticing that many of the current brands are very ‘cookie cutter’. I wanted to create something very old school yet with a modern twist. Using a very strong single colour to stand out from around you.

For the circular badge, I’ve used Teppan King as it’s more accurate in meaning than just Tep King.

I’ve used the utensils within the design albeit slightly in a vintage style and the iconic Japanese kitchen knife.

Concept 5B: Teppanyaki King

Circular option to reemphasise the brand and the minimalist, singular recognisable brand colour.

In Summary…

I hope you like the designs so far, and the ideas that formed them. Each concept have been rendered and mocked on various surfaces to give you a perspective of how each will look when applied. Once you have viewed the designs, please send your feedback to [email protected] We will continue the conversation via email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
